Rhode Islanders Teeing it up at U.S. Senior Open Qualifier
A handful of Rhode Islanders are teeing it up at the U.S. Senior Open local qualifier at Salem Country Club in Massachusetts on Monday.
Rhode Island is represented by former RI Amateur champions Jamie Lukowicz and Kevin Blaser, Golf365RI’s Peter Walsh, and West Warwick’s Artie Wilson.
The top 15 players and two alternates will advance to final qualifying.
This is the second year in which the U.S. Senior Open has multiple qualifying rounds.
Previously, there was just one qualifier to get through.
Lukowicz advanced to final qualifying in 2025.
