Marques, Lockhart Qualify for New England Jr. PGA Championship
Cranston West star Jack Marques and Barrington star Emma Lockhart have both qualified for the New England Junior PGA Championship.
Both players qualified at North Kingstown Golf Course on Saturday.
Lockhart was one of six girls to make the cut.
She posted a 10-over 80 on the day to make the cut right on the number.
Marques carded a six-over 76 to make the cut by two shots.
Lockhart and Marques were the only two Rhode Islanders to qualify at that location.
The New England Junior PGA Championship is set for July 6-7 at The Haven Country Club.
