Francoeur Makes 4th Korn Ferry Tour Start at Tulum Championship
Former URI star Chris Francoeur is set to make his fourth career Korn Ferry Tour start this week at the Tulum Championship.
In his previous three KFT starts, two of which came this season, he made two cuts and earned just over $10K.
“In this game you never really know, one week can change everything,” Francoeur told the Korn Ferry Tour.
At the Tulum Championship, he tees off at 2:50 p.m. with Turk Petit and Austin Duncan.
Francoeur earned conditional KFT status by advancing to the Final Stage of Q-School late last year.
“With where i’m at status wise right now, I need a good week this week to keep going. I’ve been here before so it is nice to be able to expect what the conditions are going to be like and what the scoring is going to be like,” said Francoeur.
He adds, “i’m going to play to win and do the best I can.”
