Bryant Women Earn First Win in Program History
The Bryant women’s golf team earned their first win in program history on Wednesday at the Stonehill Senior Showdown at Thorney Lea Golf Club in Massachusetts.
The Bulldogs finished at 10-over par as a team to beat Stonehill by six shots.
Bryant was led by Jenelle Valera, who tied for medalist honors with an even par round of 70.
Miranda Prober finished in a tie for third, Cassidy Gallant finished in a tie for sixth and Sienna Wheeler finished in a tie for eighth.
Sophie Cunningham finished at six-over and in a tie 11th, while Julia Bearden finished in a tie for 20th and Ellie Myers finished in a 24th.
The victory pays off a solid stretch for golf in which they finished fourth at the St. John’s Invitational, seventh at Prospect Bay and second at the Orange Tree Invitational.

Bryant will now get set for the OVC Championship starting on April 19-21 in Georgia.
