Agawam Hunt Names Matt Anderson New Superintendent
Agawam Hunt has named Matt Anderson as the new Superintendent, the club announced on Wednesday.
Anderson most recently worked at Fall River Country Club, and also held jobs at Wannamoisett and Pinehurst Resort.
“Matt brings a strong agronomic background along with excellent experience that we are sure will serve our course, courts and property well,” writes Agawam Hunt.
Anderson has a degree in Turf Grass Science from Sandhills Community College in North Carolina and I a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.
Agawam Hunt is scheduled to host the Rhode Island Women’s Amateur later this summer.
