Francoeur Wraps up 2-Week Korn Ferry Tour Run in Chile
Former URI star Chris Francoeur wrapped up his two-week Korn Ferry Tour run on Sunday in Chile.
Francoeur finished in a tie for 62 at the Astara Chile Classic with rounds of 70, 69, 73 and a final round 70.
The final round 70 moved him five spots up the leaderboard.
The tournament is currently being led by Doc Redman at 17-under par.
For Francoeur, this tournament marked the first time he made the cut in a Korn Ferry Tour event.
It earns him an exemption into the first stage of Q-School, meaning he wouldn’t have to pre-qualify.
Francoeur will get ready for his 2026 season on PGA Tour Americas, which begins early next month.
