Francoeur Makes Cut at KFT’s Chile Classic
Former URI star Chris Francoeur has made the cut at the Korn Ferry Tour’s Chile Classic at Prince of Wales Country Club in Chile.
Heading into the weekend, Francoeur is three-under par with rounds of 70 and 69.
The cut was two-under par.
Doc Redman, Davis Shore and Augusto Nunez holed the lead at nine-under par.
Francoeur’s 2nd Round
Following a first round 70, Francoeur opened the second round with pars on the first two holes, followed by a birdie on the par-5 third hole.
After three straight pars, Francoeur made bogey on the seventh hole, but got it back with a birdie on the ninth hole.
He turned at one-under 35.
Turning to the back side, Francoeur made birdie on the tenth hole to get to two-under on the round.
He would par out to make the cut by two shots.
