Francoeur Set for 2nd Straight Korn Ferry Tour Start

Former URI star Chris Francoeur is set to make his second straight Korn Ferry Tour start this week at the Chile Classic. 

Francoeur missed the cut at last week’s Argentina Open after rounds of 70 and 71. 

He will look to bounce back this week in Chile starting at 12:18 p.m. eastern time on Thursday. 

Francoeur is playing alongside Carson Bacha and Jacob Solomon.

Last Week on KFT 

In last week’s tournament, Francouer hit just 32% of fairways in the tournament. 

However, he hit 72% of greens in regulation, scrambled at 70% and was 100% in sand saves. 

Francoeur averaged 30 putts per round and 1.8 puts per green in regulation. 

The former Rhody Ram made birdie or better 23% of the time.
