Olivia Williams, Merrimack Open Spring Season in Alabama
Former Rhode Island Women’s Amateur Champ Olivia Williams and her Merrimack Warriors open this spring season this week in Alabama.
Williams’ squad is competing in the Huntsville.org Intercollegiate from March 2-3 at RTJ Golf Trail at Hampton Cove.
The tournament is hosted by Samford University and includes teams such as Belmont, Indiana State, Austin Peay and others.
Play gets underway at 9:30 a.m. local time on Monday.
Williams’ Freshman Season So Far
The La Salle alum got her collegiate career off to a fast start with a top ten finish in her debut tournament back in September.
She followed that up with a top 20 finish at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic about two weeks later.
Olivia is a champion golfer dedicated to hard work…and even more important she is a truly nice person
