Chatfield Returns to PGA Tour Action at Cognizant Classic
Former Rhode Island Amateur champ Davis Chatfield returns to PGA Tour action this week at the Cognizant Classic down in Florida.
Chatfield has been off the last two weeks as he did not qualify for the two elevated events.
The Cognizant Classic marks the first tournament of the Tour’s Florida swing.
Chatfield gets his tournament started at 1 p.m. off the first tee with Marcelo Bozo and Haotong Li.

Through four events in his PGA Tour career, Chatfield has made the cut once.
His made cut came at The American Express Tournament, where he finished in a tie for 63rd.
The former Notre Dame star is hitting 66% of fairways off the tee, which is 17th best on Tour, and has an average driving distance of 291.
Around the greens, Chatfield is hitting 66% of greens in regulation and has an average first putt of 40 feet.
