Agawam Hunt’s Lou Rivers Named RI Golf Professional of Year

Agawam Hunt’s Lou Rivers has been named the Rhode Island Golf Professional of the Year, the New England PGA announced on Thursday. 

Rivers has been the Head Pro at Agawam Hunt since 2021 and also serve as Secretary for the NEPGA. 

Prior to Agawam, Rivers served as the Head Pro at Foxborough Country Club in Massachusetts for 13 years. 

Agawam Hunt will host the 2026 RI Women’s Amateur and a U.S. Mid-Am qualifier later this year.
