Francoeur Set to Make Back-to-Back Korn Ferry Tour Starts
Former URI star Chris Francoeur is set to make back-to-back starts on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Francoeur will play this week at the Argentina Open in Buenos Aires, and then the Chile Classic in early march.
The former Rhody Ram earned conditional status on the Korn Ferry Tour after making it to the Final Stage of Q-School near the end of 2025.
These will be his first two starts on the KFT this season.

Obviously, a good finish or two could turn into more starts and better status.
Francoeur has been in Argentina since this past Saturday and has played a couple of practice rounds.
He tees off at 6:14 a.m. on Thursday with Ian Gilligan and Jackson Van Paris.
Prior to arriving in Argentina, Francoeur won a Minor League Golf Tour event in Florida last week.
He carded a seven-under 64 to win the tournament by one shot.
His 2026 campaign on the PGA Tour Americas is set to start in mid-April in Brazil.
