Brent Rollo Commits to Bates College for Golf
La Salle star Brent Rollo has committed to Bates College to play golf.
Rollo made the announcement on social media on Saturday.
“I am beyond excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Bates College. I would like to thank Coach Warren for giving me this opportunity as well as Mr. Dave Adamonis for helping me through this process. I would also like to thank my family and friends for their continued support,” Rollo wrote.

Rollo is in the midst of his senior year at La Salle and will join Bates in the fall of 2026.
Prior to joining the Rams golf team as a junior, Rollo played lacrosse for La Salle before making the switch.
“I’ve played golf my whole life, then I started lacrosse around eighth grade, all my friends played it. That was a great community there. It was tough leaving lacrosse, but I thought I had more in my future with golf,” Rollo told GolfNewsRI following the 2025 State Championship.
Rollo and the Rams will seek their fifth straight State Title starting in about two months.
