Chatfield’s Round

Starting on the tenth hole, Chatfield rolled in a birdie putt the right side of the flag to get off to a good start on the day.

Following pars on 11 and 12, Chatfield had the putter working again on the 13th hole where he rolled in what looked like a ten footer or so to get to two-under.

Chatfield saved par on 14 before birdieing the par-5 15th hole and then the 16th hole to get to four-under on the round.

After nearly making another birdie on 18, the former Notre Dame star would turn at four-under 32.

Making the turn, Chatfield found the fairway on the first hole and then stuck his second shot to about 10 feet left of the flag.

He rolled in the birdie putt to get to five-under on the day.

Chatfield parred the second and third holes and then came to the par-5 fourth hole.

The Wannamoisett product found the rough off the tee, forcing a layup on his second shot.

His third shot, however, he stuck it to a couple of feet below the flag and made the birdie to get to six-under.

Chatfield added a final birdie on the par-5 seventh hole to move to seven-under before parring out in the final two holes.
