Patrick Welch Looks to Bounce Back at Great Abaco Classic
Classical grad Patrick Welch will look to bounce back this week at the Korn Ferry Tour’s Great Abaco Classic in the Bahamas.
Welch missed the cut in the KFT season opener last week after finishing the tournament at even par.
He got off to a good start, opening with a first round 69, that could have been better as he left a lot of putts just short.
Welch hit just 60% of fairways and averaged over 30 putts for the two rounds.
This week, the former Oklahoma star tees off at 8:12 a.m. with former PGA Tour players Russell Knox and Martin Laird.
