Scheffler Named PGA Tour Player of Year

To the surprise of no-one, Scottie Scheffler has been named the PGA Tour Player of the Year for the 2025 season, the Tour announced on Monday. 

This is Scheffler’s fourth straight Player of the Year award making he and Tiger Woods the only players to achieve that feat. 

“Scottie’s consistent level of success has been nothing short of spectacular as he continues to chase history on the PGA TOUR, and we’re excited to see what he will deliver in 2026,” said PGA Tour CEO Brian Rolapp in a statement. 

Scheffler won six times in 2025, including two major championships. 

Overall, he has won 19 times in his career.
