Francoeur Earns Top 10 Finish at Minor League Golf Tour Event
Former URI star Chris Francoeur snagged a top ten finish at the Minor League Golf Tour’s Eagle Trace 2-Day.
Francoeur finished at seven-under par for the week with rounds of 67 and 70 to finish in a tie for eighth.
“Nice to tee it up after a couple of months off from competition. Needed some more putts to fall,” Francoeur wrote about his round on Instagram.
Among the players that Francoeur tied with was defending Providence Open champion Jimmy Hervol.
The tournament was won by Beau Breault.
Next up, Francoeur gets set for the second stage of Q-School which starts next week.
