Ledgemont Scheduled to Host 2026 Rhode Island Amateur
Ledgemont Country Club is scheduled to host the 2026 Rhode Island Amateur Championship, RIGA unveiled on Thursday.
The club hosted both the Rhode Island Stroke Play Championship and the Rhode Island Open in 2025.
Over the last few years, Ledgemont has also hosted at least one day of the Challenge Cup Championship.

“Ledgemont is one of my great loves. I’ve been here for 50 years and I’ve done everything you can think of. We struggled for a couple of years, as most people know, but the owner, Joe Ruggiero brought in Mike Doulette as our Superintendent and he has done wonders regarding the golf course, it’s just fantastic,” Challenge Cup’s Steve Feinstein told GolfNewsRI TV.
The 2026 Rhode Island Amateur is scheduled for July 6-10.
Mike Calef is the defending champion.
