Fred Mather closed out the 2025 Amateur Golf Tour New England season strong with a win at Pawtucket Country Club on Monday.
Mather carded a ten-over 79 to win by two shots over Ken Allen.
For Mather, this is his 16th win of the season on the Amateur Golf Tour of New England in 22 events played.
He leads Richard Rotelli by three points in the AGTNE Player of the Year race.
Rotelli racked up ten wins in 35 events.
Mather’s Round
Mather started the round strong, saving par on the first five holes of the round before making his lone front nine bogey on the sixth hole.
He made the turn at one-over par 36.
On the back side, Mather bogeyed the first four holes to move to five-over on the day before breaking the streak with a par on 14.
Coming in, Mather bogeyed the 15th hole, 16th hole and made a triple-bogey on 17 before closing out the tournament with a par on 18.
