Iaciofano Finishes 2nd at Florida HS District Championship
Rhode Island Junior Am finalist Joey Iaciofano finished in a tie for second at the Florida High School 1A District Championship on Tuesday at the Champions Club at Summerfield.
Iaciofano carded a round of 69 to tie with the Benjamin School’s Andrew Tsar and Oxbridge teammate Kenny Klein for second.
The Benjamin School’s Clint Lewis won individual honors with a 67.
Rhode Island Junior Am champion AJ Colonna finished in a tie for 11th with a round of 75.
Charlie Woods finished in ninth with a round of 74.
On the team side, Oxbridge Academy finished second with a score of 285, three shots back of The Benjamin School.
Both schools are poised for another showdown in the State Championship in a few weeks.
