Bryson Richards Begins First Stage of Q-School in Florida

Former URI star Bryson Richards begins the First Stage of Q-School on Tuesday down in Florida. 

Richards is teeing up at The Preserve at Ironhorse, located in West Palm Beach. 

He begins his first round at 9:25 a.m. off the first tee with Remi Chartier and reigning Providence Open champion Jimmy Hervol.

The exact number of qualifying spots will be posted after the first round. 

In previous First Stage sessions, the top 18 players and ties have advanced, so this week will likely not be much different.

About The Preserve at Ironhorse 

The Preserve at Ironhorse is a private country club designed by Arthur Hills and renovated in 2015. 

This week, the course is a par-72 and will stretch to 7,322 yards from the back tees. 

The Preserve consists of four par-5s and and four par-3s.
