Harbor Lights Sold for Nearly $10 Million
Harbor Lights has been sold for nearly $10 million in an off-market transaction, GolfNewsRI has learned.
According to documents from the City Clerk’s office, Harbor Lights was sold for $9.92 million to Falmouth, MA, based Flying Bridge Real Estate LLC.
Colliers represented the seller, Monument Marine Group, while the buyers were represented by SVN Marinas.
“Harbor Lights is truly a one-of-a-kind property that embodies the best of Rhode Island’s waterfront lifestyle,” said Josh Sheppard, Advisor at SVN Marinas in a statement. “We were proud to represent Flying Bridge Marina in this acquisition and work closely with the seller to ensure a successful closing. Under new ownership, Harbor Lights is poised to thrive and continue its tradition as a premier coastal destination.”
Monument Marine Group purchased Harbor Lights in 2023.
About Harbor Lights, Colliers writes:
Harbor Lights is situated on a ±70-acre site on picturesque Warwick Cove with direct and easy access to the upper section of Rhode Island’s Narragansett Bay. Harbor Lights features the most extensive collection of amenities of any marina in New England, a phenomenal location right on the Bay, and benefits from southwest breezes during the summer season making it an attractive spot to host and event or just relax at the marina or its pool.
Key assets include a storage-centric marina with 208 wet slips (6,360 LF of dockage), an events operation with multiple venues including a 15,394 SF clubhouse that will host over 200 events in 2022, a very popular pool/tiki bar that serves multiple functions, and a nine-hole golf course that ultimately could be redevelopment potential for a new owner. The sheer scope and size of Harbor Lights and what it offers investors is unmatched and could not be duplicated today.
