McCormick, Lafauci Win The Havemeyer at Newport CC
The Kirkbrae duo of Tom McCormick and Larry Lafauci won The Havemeyer at Newport Country Club this weekend.
Jamie Lukowicz and Darren Corrente had won the previous two iterations of the prestigious event.
The tournament is named after Theodore Havemeyer, the USGA’s first President.
Newport Country Club was host to the first U.S. Open and first U.S. Amateur.
