Anthony Loiselle to Join Pro Staff at Wannamoisett

Anthony Loiselle will be joining the Professional Staff at Wannamoisett Country Club later this year, he announced on Tuesday. 

Loiselle currently serves art the Head Pro at Louisquisset. 

“As I notified the membership of LGC this afternoon, beginning December of this year I will move into a new chapter of my career, joining the Professional Staff at Wannamoisett Country Club,” Loiselle wrote on Facebook.

Loiselle has been the Head Pro at Louisquisset since 2023, the first Head Pro job of his career. 

“Given the opportunity to become a Head Professional at just 22 years old, I could not have imagined what these past three seasons would bring. The memories, friendships, and experiences will always remain incredibly meaningful to me,” he added. 

He continued, “I will be leaving with only the fondest of memories. To the membership and staff of LGC, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the trust, support, and encouragement I have been shown along the way. I am truly looking forward to a wonderful remainder of the season with you all!”

Loiselle will join the Wannamoisett staff in December.  

Loiselle’s Career 

Loiselle’s career started with internships at Rhode Island Country Club and Warwick Country Club in 2018 and 2019 respectively. 

His first job came at Louisquisset in 2020 and he served there until 2021, before moving on to Newport National. 

He served as a Golf Shop Assistant/Services in both places. 

Loiselle took the Assistant Golf Pro job at Fall River in April of 2022, and most recently worked over the winter at John’s Island Club in Florida. 

He took the Head Pro job at Louisquisset in March of 2023. 

Now, he is set to join Wannamoisett in December.
