PC Golf Gets Commitment from MA’s Zac Georgantas
The Providence College men’s golf team has received a verbal commitment form Foxboro, Mass native Zac Georgantas.
Georgantas made the announcement on Instagram on Monday.
“I am blessed and excited to announce my verbal commitment to the admissions process to continue my academic career and play division 1 golf at Providence College. I want to thank my family, coaches, and friends for supporting me during this process. Thank you Coach Parente for giving me this amazing opportunity,” wrote Georgantas in a post.
Georgantas will join the Friars in the fall of 2026.
About Georgantas
Earlier this summer, Georgantas won the Ft. Myers Spring Open with scores of 71 and 72 to finish one-under for the tournament.
He played that as part of the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour.
Prior to that, he captured the IMG CC Junior open with a first round score of 73 and a second round score of 69 to finish at two-under.
Georgantas is also a past club champion at Foxboro Country Club and Bay Berry Hills.
