McCormick Captures 6th Kirkbrae Club Championship
Tom McCormick captured his sixth Kirkbrae Club Championship title on Sunday afternoon at the club.
McCormick beat Mike Hamilton 1-up in a 36 hole match to win his first club championship since 2021.
The 36-hole showdown on Sunday was tied through 34 holes before McCormick won the 35th hole (17th) with a bogey against Hamilton’s double.
On the final hole, both players were on in two and both nearly made their birdie putts.
However, they ended up halving with pars to end the match, giving McCormick the win.
Men’s Net Championship
Nick Matook beat Greg Horton in the men’s net championship.
Ladies Net Championship
Naomi Salvatore won the Ladies Net Championship on Sunday.
