Kylie Eaton Wins RI Women’s Amateur Title in Walking Boot
Playing in a walking boot, Kylie Eaton won her second Rhode Island Women’s Amateur title on Friday at Alpine Country Club.
Eaton held on to beat Alise Knudson 2&1 for her second Am title in the last four years.
“The last holes were a little bit shaky so I was glad to get the up and down there to secure the win. Overall, good week, lots of birdies. Alise played really well, but I’m glad I came out on top today,” said Eaton after the round.

Eaton played the entire match play portion of the tournament in a walking boot after injuring her ankle this past weekend playing tennis.
“It was different. I feel a little lopsided and I can’t really pivot, but other than that, it’s all good,” said Eaton.
She expects to remain in the boot for at least the next few days.
Story will be update with more quotes etc..
