Triggs Set to Host 2025 Providence Open

A combination of amateurs and pros are set to descend on Triggs Memorial Golf Course for the 2025 Providence Open. 

The tournament begins on Wednesday morning, July 2 and ends on Thursday afternoon, July 3. 

It is free for spectators to attend.

The Field

The pro portion of the field is highlighted by four-time RI High School State Champion Will Dickson, who returns home to play the Providence Open for the third straight year. 

Dickson has been battling it out on the mini-tours over the last few years while continuing to play in Monday qualifiers and make runs at Q-School. 

Also highlighting the field is Brad Adamonis, who is continuing to grind away on the mini-tours and Senior Tour qualifiers. 

Other local pros in the field include Joe Tucker, Anthony Loiselle, Fran Quinn and Triggs pro Bob Tramonti. 

On the amateur side, the field is loaded with local talent. 

Former RI Amateur Champion Kevin Blaser, former La Salle star Max Jackson, former St. Rays stars Nick Emery and Zach Taraian, URI stars Tyler Bruneau, Aidan O’Donovan and Sebastian Carlsson, and former La Salle star Joe Early. 

Also in the field is former RI Stroke Play champ and Moses Brown star Harry Dessel, former Hendricken star Gianni Fontenault, Mike Caparco, Bryant assistant coach Rick Angeli and more.
