The daughter of Happy Days actor Scott Baio has committed to the Providence College Women’s Golf team.
Bailey Baio will join the PC Women’s team in the fall of 2026.
“Scott and I are absolutely excited and over joyed that Bailey committed to this private, faith based, Division 1 college! She had many offers, from nearly 30 colleges (in all different divisions). This took her a lot of praying and weighing out pros and cons with each of her top picks. I will freeze in the Winter months but Fall 2026 will begin the next chapter in BB’s journey,” writes Renee Baio in a social media post announcing the commitment.
Scott Baio played the character of Chachi Arcola on Happy Days and the spinoff Joanie Loves Chachi.
About Bailey Baio
Baio lives in Bradenton, Florida and attended IMG Academy where she played on the IMG Junior Golf Tour starting in her sophomore year.
Prior to that, she played her freshman season at Oaks Christian School in Los Angeles, before moving across the country.
Just a few weeks ago, she finished third in a tournament at Eagle Creek Golf Club.
She finished five-over for the event, but cared a one-under par final round.
