Will Dickson Competing in G-Pro Tour’s Sanctuary Championship
Rhode Island’s Will Dickson is competing on the G-Pro Tour this week at the Sanctuary Championship.
After round one, Dickson is three-under (69) for the tournament and in a tie for 27th overall.
The top 44 players and ties make the cut after Friday’s second round.
The tournament is being led by Blake McShea and Logan Sowell at eight-under.
Dickson’s 1st Round
Things did not get off to a good start for the four-time Rhode Island high school champion.
Dickson opened with a double-bogey six on the tenth hole, but bounced back with a birdie on the 11th hole.
Following a string of pars, Dickson birdied the par-5 17th hole to turn at even par.
Turning to the front side, Dickson birdied the second hole to get under par for the first time in the round.
He parred the 3rd through seventh holes before closing with back-to-back birdies on the eighth and ninth to finish at three-under.
