RI Women’s Am Set for Alpine – Rest of Schedule Released
The 2025 Rhode Island Women’s schedule has been released by the Rhode Island Golf Association.
The schedule is highlighted by the 2025 Women’s Am being held at Alpine Country Club.
The tournament will be held from July 14-18, with Emily Brooks being the defending champion.
Registration for the Women’s Am opens at 10 a.m. on May 14.
The Women’s Amateur rides some momentum coming into 2025 after the 2024 tournament at Wannamoisett drew the biggest field in the recent history of the tournament.

So much so, that there was a cut during the stroke play qualifying portion of the tournament.
The 2024 Amateur also saw past champions Addy Douglas, Alexis Florio and Emily Brooks return to the competition.

Women’s Schedule Highlights
The Women’s schedule opens with a bang.
Six of the first seven tournaments will be held at some of the best courses in the state.
The Women’s season opens on April 21 at The Aquidneck Club for Best Ball of four, and continues with another Best Ball of four at Wannamoisett on April 28.
From there, there are back-to-back one Best Ball Even/2 Best Ball Odds The Misquamicut Club on April 29, and then May 5 at Quidnesett.
The Quidnessett Tournament is Front/Back Best Ball as opposed to even/odd.
On May 6 AWL – 2 Person Chapman will be at Newport CC and on May 12, Two Best Ball of Four comes to Shelter Harbor.
Following events at Rhode Island CC and Point Judith, team Rhode Island will host Team Connecticut at Pawtucket Country Club on May 29.
The New England Women’s Amateur will be held from June 24-26 at Haverhill Country Club in Massachusetts.
The Rhode Island Women’s Stroke Play Championship will take place at Agawam Hunt on July 7, just days ahead of the Women’s Am.
As GolfNewsRI previously reported, the Junior Amateur will return to Pawtucket Country Club where Lilly Dessel will look to defend her title.
The Endicott Cup will take place at Tumble Brook Country Club from October 7-9.
The Women’s season wraps up on October 21 with two Best Ball of 4 at Kirkbrae.
