Andrade-Faxon Charities for Children Donate Over $400K to Local Charities
Billy Andrade and Brad Faxon’s Charities for Children donated more than $400K to local charities in Rhode Island and Massachusetts who help at risk kids.
The Charities for Children mailed out 62 checks totaling $406,753 to Rhode Island and Southeastern Mass 501(c)3 organizations.
“Billy and I are thrilled to share that the Andrade – Faxon Charities for Children has donated $406,000 to 62 kids’ charities across Rhode Island this year. For over 30 years, we’ve been passionate about helping local children and giving back to the community that means so much to us. We’re incredibly grateful for the support that makes it possible to keep making a difference in the lives of these kids,” said Brad Faxon in a statement.
Andrade-Faxon Charities have donated a total of $9,265,349 since starting the foundation in 1992.
According to the press release, organizations request amounts anywhere from $4,000-$10,000 each on a yearly basis.
“We wish we could fund 100% of the requests, but that would mean zero funds next year, so we have to trim it back. This year is the highest total dollars we have ever given out, because the need is so great,” added Andrade.
