Korn Ferry Tour to Award 20 PGA Tour Cards During 2025 Season
The Korn Ferry Tour announced “competitive updates” ahead of the start of the 2025 season in the Bahamas.
Most notably, the Tour will award PGA Tour cards to players that finish inside the top 20 on the Korn Ferry Tour Points list at the end of the season.
This is a change that coincides with what the PGA Tour announced lat in 2024.

The KFT previously awarded Tour cards to players who finished inside the top 30.
Former Rhode Island Amateur champ Davis Chatfield finished 44th on the KFT Points List last year, while Welch finished 87th.
Welch will have conditional status to start the 2025 season.
Other Changes
Cut lines on the Korn Ferry Tour will be the top 65 and ties, including professionals and amateurs. Previously, amateurs were not included.
Korn Ferry Tour players who qualify for the 2025 U.S. Open, will not received points for their finishes. This is because the KFT is idle during the tournament.
