REPORT: LIV Golf Nearing Deal with Fox Sports

LIV Golf is nearing a deal with Fox Sports to carry their events starting in the 2025 season, according to Sports Business Journal.

The deal is expected to be announced in the next couple of weeks.

“Fox will carry LIV events on its broadcast network and cable channels, while LIV will “produce the events, taking a big expense off the network’s plate,” writes Sports Business Journal.

Back in 2020, Fox Sports dumped its rights to USGA events, transferring them back to NBC Sports.

Sports Business Journal notes that part of Fox’s reason to acquire LIV Golf has to do with the 2034 FIFA World Cup being held in Saudi Arabia and Saudi PIF owning LIV.

LIV Golf was previously on the CW Network for the previous two seasons.
