Chatfield Finishes T6 at TaylorMade Invitational at Pebble Beach
Former Rhode Island Amateur champion Davis Chatfield earned a top ten finish this week at the TaylorMade Invitational at Pebble Beach.
Chatfield finished five-under for the tournament and in a tie for sixth with two other players.
He posted rounds of 74 at Spanish Bay, 71 at Spyglass Hill, 65 in the third round at Pebble and a final round 73 at Pebble.

Chatfield began the final round in a tie for third place before sliding a few spots.
The tournament was won by Max McGreevy at 13-under par.
Rhode Island’s Billy Andrade did not make the 54-hole cut.
Chatfield’s Final Round
After lighting up the historic course in round three, Chatfiled opened the final round with bogeys on the first and fifth holes to immediately drop to two over on the day.
Following three straight pars, Chatfield birdied the ninth hole to turn at one-over.
The former Notre Dame star dropped another birdie on the 11th hole, getting him back to even par.
However, the rest of the round was a rollercoaster.
Chatfield bogeyed 13, birdied 14, bogeyed 15 and 16 and closed the tournament with a birdie on 18 to card a 73.
