PC Golf Gets Commitment from MA’s Will Spring

Massachusetts native Will Spring has committed to played golf at Providence College, he announced on Instagram.

Spring is in the midst of his senior year at Concord-Carlisle and will join the Friars in the fall of 2025.

He is the first, or one of the first commits, to the rebooted PC program.

“I am proud to announce my commitment to pursue academics and play golf at Providence College. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me along the way,” Spring wrote in a social media post.

Late last month, PC named Louis Parente as the head coach of the men’s golf team, which will begin play in 2025-26.

Providence College reinstated a men’s golf team for the first time since 2002 and is also adding a women’s golf team for the first time ever.
