Vinny Papa to Compete in Notah Begay III National Championship
Rhode Island’s Vinny Papa will be competing at this year’s Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship at Kasati Pines at Coushatta in Louisiana.
This is the third straight year in which Papa is playing in the tournament.
Last year, Papa finished 27th overall and 12th in her age group (girls 14-15).
The 2024 edition of the tournament takes place from November 3-5.
The tournament will be broadcast Golf Channel on December 17 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Pairings and tee times for the event have not yet been released.
Papa on Fire
Papa will enter this year’s Notah Begay National Championship playing her best golf.
This past weekend, she took home the trophy at the Ocean State Junior Classic at Cranston Country Club.
Just two weeks prior to that, she claimed the Nutmeg Junior Championship in Connecticut.
