Iaciofano, Colonna Snag Top 5 Finishes at Florida HS District Championship
Rhode Island’s Joey Iaciofano and AJ Colonna both earned high finishes at the Florida High School 1A District Championship.
Iaciofano finished in solo second place after carding a round of 70, one shot back of winner Andrew Tsar of the Benjamin school.
Meanwhile, Colonna finished in solo fifth with a round of 72 for the tournament.
He finished one shot better than Charlie Woods.
On the team side, Oxbridge Academy finished in second place, two shots behind the Benjamin School.
Oxbridge posted a team score of 293, while Benjamin carded a 291.
Next Up
Iaciofano is headed to The Optimist Tournament of Champions this weekend, and AJ will be at the Golfweek International Junior.
Iaciofano and Colonna will then rejoin Oxbridge Academy on Monday for the Florida Division 1 Regionals to determine the State Championship.
