Andrew O’Leary Begins Stage 1 of Q-School – Finally
It has been a long wait for Andrew O’Leary to join in the Q-School fun, but on Tuesday he will finally begin his journey.
As GolfNewsRI reported, O’Leary is playing Q-School down in Florida at The Country Club of Ocala and it was supposed to start several weeks ago.
However, Hurricane Milton got in the way and the tournament was postponed to this week.
This is the last Stage 1 Session.
Stage two begins on November 19 with sessions extending through December 6.
O’Leary in Q-School
O’Leary tees off at 9:57 a.m. on Tuesday with Eddy Lai and Jeff Klauk.
The number of qualifiers will be released once all players are on the course, but in previous sessions, the top 20 (or so) and ties have advanced.
The number will probably be similar this time around.
Country Club of Ocala
The Country Club of Ocala is a par 72 and will play at 6,920 yards from the back tees.
There are four par-5s on the course, all measuring well over 500 yards.
The course also consists of four par-3s, all of which measure almost 200 yards.
