Olivia Williams Commits to Merrimack College for Golf
La Salle star Olivia Williams announced that she has committed to play golf at Merrimack College starting in the fall of 2026.
Williams is a senior at La Salle this year.
“I am so proud to announce my commitment to play division 1 golf at Merrimack College. I would like to thank all of my coaches, family, and friends for helping me get here. I would also like to thank coach Malcolm and the team for this amazing opportunity. Go warriors,” Williams wrote in an Instagram post.
At Merrimack, Williams will join fellow Rhode Islander Morgan MacLeod, who will be in her senior year.
Williams is a two-time RI High School State Champion, two-time RI Junior Amateur Champion and the 2023 RI Women’s Amateur Champion.
This season, she will look to lead the Rams to their fourth straight state title.
