Former Bishop Hendricken star Gianni Fontenault won the Harbor Lights Club Championship on Sunday morning.

Fontenault beat David Carlson 7&6 to capture his first Club Championship title. 

“I didn’t really hit the ball great off the tee, but I got up and down from everywhere and was hitting most shots from inside 100 yards to ten feet and made the putts,” Fontenault told GolfNewsRI in a text. 

For Fontenault, this was a big bounce back win after he lost the club championship match on the 18th hole last year.
