Brad Adamonis Monday Qualifies for Champions Tour’s Ally Challenge

Rhode Island’s Brad Adamonis has Monday qualified for the PGA Champions Tour’s Ally Challenge being held this week in Michigan. 

Adamonis carded a five-under 67 in the qualifier to tie for medalist honors and advance to the main stage.

This is the second Champions Tour event that Adamonis has Monday qualified for in the last couple of weeks. 

He will tee off at 12:15 p.m. on Friday afternoon off the tenth tee. 

Brett Quigley will tee off at 10:25 a.m. off the tenth tee, while Billy Andrade is off at 10:30 a.m. off the first tee. 

Adamonis’ Round 

Adamonis played the Monday qualifier at Spring Meadows in Linden, Michigan. 

Starting on the tenth hole, Adamonis made birdie on the par-5 11h to get to one-under par for the round and off to a good start. 

He then dropped birdies on the 15th and 16th holes to move the score to three-under before bogeying the 18th. 

Adamonis would turn at two-under. 

Turning to the front side, Adamonis gave the round a big jolt by making eagle on the par-5 second hole pushing the round to four-under. 

He birdied the sixth hole to get to five under and parred out the rest of the way.
