Nick Salvatore beat Sam Lombardi to win the Kirkbrae Club Championship on Sunday afternoon.

Salvatore won the match 4&3 for his first club championship title.

This is the first time in five or six years that the Kirkbrae Club Championship wasn’t won by Tom McCormick or Mike Hamilton.

The 36-hole match was even through the first 18, but Salvatore took a commanding three-up lead on the front nine of the second 18.

He closed the match out on 15.

Net Championship

In the net championship, Bill Benford defeated Ken Martone 2&1.

Benford parred 17 to close out the match.
