Tee Times Adjusted for Final Round of U.S. Senior Open Due to Weather
Final round tee times at the U.S. Senior Open at Newport Country Club have been moved up due to anticipated afternoon storms, the USGA announced on Saturday.
“The weather forecast for the Newport area not only prompted an early beginning to the final round but will include play in threesomes starting from the first and 10th tees, as it did for the third round on Saturday. The United States Golf Association (USGA) traditionally plays in twosomes in the third and final rounds,” writes the USGA in a press release.
Sunday tee times have not yet been announced.
NBC’s final round coverage will begin streaming on Peacock at 10:30 a.m. EDT. NBC will pick up the play, from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Golf Channel will broadcast a two-hour re-air of the final round, from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
