Welch Snags Top 15 Finish at KFT’s UNC Health Championship
Classical grad Patrick Welch finished in solo 13th at the Korn Ferry Tour’s UNC Health Championship on Sunday in North Carolina.
Welch finished three-under for the tournament with rounds of 68, 67 and a pari of 71s.
He was tied for the lead at one point on Saturday and entered Sunday in a tie for fourth.
The T13 finish is his best of the season, so far.
Former Rhode Island Amateur Champion Davis Chatfield finished in a tie for 56th overall after making the cut on the number.
He finished three-over for the tournament.
The tournament was won by Kaito Onishi at eight under par.
