Rhode Island’s Joe Iaciofano and Charlie Blanchard earned alternate spots at the U.S. Senior Open Qualifier at Franklin Country Club on Tuesday.
Iaciofano finished the round at one-under par and lost in a 3-for-2 playoff to automatically qualify.
Blanchard finished at even par for the round to earn an alternate spot.
The three automatic qualifiers are Fran Quinn, Jeff Martin and Canada’s Carl Pelletier.
