REPORT: Quidnessett Accused of Building 14th Hole Seawall Without Permission
Quidnessett Country Club is being accused by the Rhode Island Coastal Resources Management Council (CRMC) of building a seawall along the 14th hole without permission.
This comes according to a story first reported by The Boston Globe.
According to the Globe, the CRMC issued a cease and desist order, as well as, a series of fines to Quidnessett back in August to get them to stop building the wall.

The Globe reports that CRMC had issued three fines of $10,000 and told the club to stop building the seawall, however, the work had already been finished.
Quidnessett has hired Jennifer Cervenka as their lawyer and requested an administrative hearing under state law.
The club did not respond to The Globe’s request for comment.
The Globe notes that it is unclear what will happen next, or happen to the seawall.
