URI Finishes Tied 5th at Surf Club Invitational
Bryson Richards and Tony Liu led the University of Rhode Island golf team to a tie for fifth place finish at The Surf Club Invitational in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The Rams finished at even par for the tournament to tie with Delaware.
Rhody carded a team score of four-under 280 in the final round to move up three spots.

UConn won the tournament with relative ease, posting a team score of 27-under par.
Individually, Richards led URI with a tournament score of seven-under par to finish in solo fourth, three shots out of the lead.
Liu finished in solo fifth at six-under par.
They were the only two URI players to finish inside the top 40.
The Rams are next in action this weekend at The Carpetbagger Classic.
