Welch Finishes 57th at KFT’s Chile Classic
Patrick Welch finished in a tie for 57th this week at the Astara Chile Classic on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Welch finished at 6-under for the week following rounds of 67, 73 and two rounds of 71 to tie for 57th with several other players.
The Classical Grad made the cut this week for the first time on the Korn Ferry Tour this season.

His first round 67 was the lowest round of his season to this point.
Davis Chatfield missed the cut.
Welch’s Final Round
Welch started the round with a par on the first, before making a bogey on the second hole to move to one-over.
He saved par on the third hole, then dropped back-to-back birdies on the fourth and fifth holes to get under par for the day.
However, he gave that back with a bogey on the sixth hole and another on the ninth to turn at one-over.
On the back side, Welch made bogey on the 12th hole moving him to two-over for the round.
The former Oklahoma star would bounce back with a birdie on the 14th and then save pars on 15, 16, and 17.
Welch would make an eagle 3 on the par-5 18th hole to finish under par for the day and card a 71.
He was tied for tenth on Tour this week for eagles made.
