Brad Adamonis Loses in Playoff at Champions Tour Monday Qualifier
Heartbreaker.
Rhode Island’s Brad Adamonis lost in a playoff in the Champions Tour Monday Qualifier for the Chubb Classic in Florida.
Adamonis finished three-under for the round which got him into a 2-for-1 playoff.

He came up short in the playoff, losing to Mikael Lundberg.
Overall, three players advanced to the tournament with no alternates.
Adamonis’ Round
Starting on the front side, Adamonis opened with a birdie on the first hole, but made bogeys on five and seven to move to one-over.
He came up clutch on the par-5 ninth hole, making a birdie to turn at even par.
However, he was three shots off the cut line with nine holes to play.
On the back side, Adamonis birdied the par-5 11th hole and saved par on 12 and 13.
The RI Golf Hall of Famer eagled the par-5 14th hole and then birdied the 15th to put him inside the cut.
Following a par on 16, Adamonis suffered a bogey on the par-3 17 to set him back to three-under and into a tie.
Adamonis saved par on 18 to card a 69.
